he invention relates to a door answering device positioned externally of the entrance of a house or office and operating as an automatic telephone recorder. It enables the user to communicate with visitors when the former is absent from the house or the office. Its use is based on outgoing recorded voice messages addressed to visitors, as well as on ingoing voice messages left by visitors and recorded by same device. Messages can be reproduced or stored, at will. The answering device in question is capable of being incorporated to existing or new door answering systems. All functions are interrupted when said device is switched off. |
