BACK LIGHT ASSEMBLY AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back light assembly and a liquid crystal display device using it.

SOLUTION: The back light assembly has two L shape lamps which are disposed in a rectangular frame form. A pair of electrodes facing each other among four electrodes of the two lamps are connected electrically, and discharge voltage which have 180° phase difference each other are applied to other pair of electrodes facing each other respectively via an inverter 239, thereby driving the lamps. The lamps of the back light assembly are 250 lighted using the shortest lamp wire or without using the lamp wire, and whole volume of the liquid crystal display device is reduced greatly.
