<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve running of a vehicle without using a differential limiter device, and to improve the running of a hybrid vehicle whose rear wheels are driven by an electric motor. <P>SOLUTION: The output of an electric motor 14 mounted on the vehicle is distributed by differential gears and transmitted to the right and left driving wheels. The rotational speed of the driving wheels is detected by each of wheel speed sensors 33a, 33b, and the level of an accelerator pedal stepped down by a driver is detected by an accelerator opening sensor 32. These detected signals of the sensors are transmitted to an electronic control unit 31, which controls the motor 14 based on a driving force value calculated by a signal from the accelerator opening sensor 32, when a difference in the revolutions of the driving wheels is equal to or smaller than the prescribed value, and limits the output of the motor 14 when it is equal to or larger than the prescribed value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
