The stretcher-bed includes a stretcher (1) having two longitudinal bars (61,62) separated by two transverse bars (8) and covered with a canvas to define a sleeping surface. The frame has handles (7) at the ends of the longitudinal bars and feet (3) so that it can be positioned on the ground. The frame also has four legs (6) that co-operate with actuators formed from actuating levers (111,112) and pistons (101,102), that enable displacement of the legs from a position parallel and against the longitudinal bars to upright positions, enabling the stretcher to be transformed into a bed.
