PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new electric fire prevention device for security preventing a tracking generated at a connection part of a receptacle and a plug from developing into a fire in advance. SOLUTION: A receptacle 3 is mounted to an opening part 5 of a wall surface W through a fixing plate 4, and a guide hole 9, passing in lateral direction at the position facing a plug 2, is perforated on the receptacle 3. A pressurizing pin 11 of which, one end is fixed to a plate washer 12 facing a back surface of the receptacle, is made to pass through the guide hole 9, and an elastic body 13 is arranged between the plate washer 12 and the fixing plate 4. A holding part 15 made of thermoplastic material is fitted to the front part of the guide hole 9, and the extrusion of the pressurizing pin 11 is restricted by the holding part 15. When a tracking is generated between the plug 2 and the receptacle 3, the holding part 15 is softened and broken. By the above, the pressurizing pin 11 extrudes toward front side by the restoring force of the elastic body 13, and the pressurizing pin 11 pushes the plug 2, and the plug 2 is detached from the receptacle 3.
