PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start continuous access from an optional address by simple constitution. SOLUTION: Inside a DMA controller for mediating and selecting DMA control information signals received from a plurality of DMA request blocks and executing access to an SDRAM on the basis of the selected DMA control information signal, an SDRAM controller 4 detects the possible number of times of the continuous access by a detector 11 on the basis of DMA start address signals, compares the possible number of times of the continuous access with the number of times of burst DMA requests instructed by BSTNUM signals in a comparator 12, selects a smaller one by a selector 13, and sets the selected number of times to a DMA setting counter 14 as the number of times of continuous DMA to be actually executed.
