PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate unbalance in the electric characteristics of the winding of a rotating electric machine, as a whole, even if the electric characteristics of individual coils constituting the winding are not balanced. SOLUTION: A winding 121 is formed by laying coils 121-1 through 121-4 in multilayer on the circumferential surface of a core teeth 101 and a winding 122 is formed by laying coils 122-1 through 122-4 in multilayer on the circumferential surface of a core teeth 102. The in-phase windings 121 and 122 are connected such that the coils 121-1 and 122-4, the coils 121-2 and 122-3, the coils 121-3 and 122-2, and the coils 121-4 and 122-1 are connected independently in series.
