PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching hub for permitting communication between nodes connected to a subscriber's port without losing the security. SOLUTION: The switching hub including a one-way virtual LAN function having two subscriber's ports or more and one station side port or more and restricting the relay of a frame received from the subscriber's port to other subscriber's ports, is provided with a destination replacement relay function having a port versus dummy table storing a dummy MAC address associated with each subscriber's port and replacing the destination MAC address of a frame received from the subscriber's port 141 with a MAC address of anode 112 connected to the subscriber's port 142 corresponding to the dummy MAC address when the destination MAC address of the frame received from the subscriber's port 141 is a dummy MAC address and relaying the frame to the subscriber's port 142 corresponding to the frame.
