<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve a load required for management of components such as a board being a component of a transmission apparatus and to enhance the reliability of the management. <P>SOLUTION: An intra-office monitor controller 2 uses an information write section 20a to write a serial number for identifying respective components to an information recording section 17 provided to a functional component 16 (board) mounted on an optical transmission apparatus 1. An information read section 20b automatically reads the serial number written in the information recording section 17 when an operation of mount or non-mount is applied to the functional component 16 is detected. An internal information registration section 20c registers the serial number read by the information read section 20b to an asset number management information table 29a associated with information of a date and time when the mount or non-mount operation is executed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
