PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remote control a large number of home electric apparatus readily through simple registration setting. SOLUTION: The home electric apparatus control system comprises a CDMA antenna 21 performing cellular system radio communication; a CDMA radio section 22 and a voice processing section 23; a short range radio antenna 31 and a short range radio section 27 provided independently to perform radio communication within a limited range; and a control unit 26 for requesting registration to home electric apparatus having a similar short range radio communication means by short range radio, registering identification information and contents for remote control thus obtained in an operational content storing section 30, displaying the registered contents for remote control at a display section 28, selecting the displayed contents for remote control by key operation at a key input section 29, and transmitting the selected contents for remote control from the short range radio section 27 and the short range radio antenna 31 together with the identification information of a corresponding home electric apparatus.
