PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool operation training device that allows a user to learn a restoration operation through actual experience without causing a failure with an actual machine, and to perform a plurality of machine tool operation trainings with one device. SOLUTION: An operation training device 1 comprises an actual device control unit 5 that comprises an operation panel 2 having an operation unit 50 used to operate the machine tool, a PLC 3 that controls the sequence of the machine tool, and a CNC device 4 used to numerically control the machine tool; and a training computer 7 that comprises virtual model building means 26 that displays the three-dimensional virtual model of the machine tool based on machine component information 24 stored in a RAM 25, virtual control means 27 that controls the virtual model based on signals 8, 10, and 13, operation response means 28 that sends an operation response signal 11, and display control means 29 and a CRT 30 that control and display the virtual model.
