PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display material which glitters not only in a bright place but in a poorly lighted or dark place as well and is light in weight and excellent in design characteristics. SOLUTION: A coating material containing both of fluorescent pigments and light accumulative pigments are applied to a foamed plastic plate. The fluorescent pigments glitter well and are visible with slight light. The light accumulative pigments accumulate the light when the surrounding is bright and the pigments emit light when dark. When the fluorescent pigments and the light accumulative pigments are combined, the fluorescent pigments glitter with the slight light in the poorly lighted place and the accumulated light of the light accumulative pigments is released and therefore the light accumulative pigments appear bright.
