A remote control procedure in which remote monitoring information is transmitted as the content of WML- pages on a WAP-type GSM-mobilephone connected via a dialing link to a personal computer, and the control information is relayed as control signals or control commands to a controlling technical system or to the peripherals at the personal computer. An Independent claim is given for application of a WAP- type GSM-mobilephone as remote supervisory control center.
