The golf ball has a ferromagnetic iron core or iron piece or has ferromagnetic iron powder distributed throughout during production, or concentrated on the core. Ferromagnetic pins can be used, threaded and integrated in the ball. The ball can otherwise have an inside wrap. If pins are used, these fit into tapped holes in the ball, the pins being shorter than the ball diameter and covered at their ends by elastic ball material or pins. The pins can also be bonded to the ball which can also have a permanent magnet or permanently magnetic core.
