<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chaff molding which has excellent properties, such as water permeability, air permeability, heat shieldability, and elasticity, can be widely utilized in diversified applications, and facilitates secondary fabrication, such as cutting after molding. <P>SOLUTION: The chaff molding is formed by solidifying a kneaded mixture prepared by adding water and an adhesive to chaff 2 and cement which are main materials. The cement paste and the adhesive are solidified on the surfaces of numerous pieces of the chaff 2 dispersed over the entire part and covering layers 3 covering approximately the entire part of respective pieces of the chaff 2 in the form of thin films are formed. Respective adjacent pieces of the chaff 2 are bonded directly by bonds 5 comprising solidifying of the same cement paste and adhesive as those of the covering layers 3 or through the covering layers 3, by which gaps 4 are dispersed approximately over the entire part and are continuously formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
