<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED printer which can constantly produce a print image with a substantially specified density by eliminating the effect of ambient temperature and humidity. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 1 reads in the detection results of ambient temperature from a temperature sensor 21 and the detection results of ambient humidity from a humidity sensor 22. At the time of printing image data of 1 line, the CPU 1 determines an optimal exposure time of a photosensitive drum 23 according to the detection results of the temperature sensor 21 and the humidity sensor 22, i.e., determines an optimal exposure time by reading the emission time of an LED element constituting an LED print head 80 from a table prestored in an ROM 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
