PIGMENT WATER DISPERSION FOR EMULSION POLYMERIZATION TONER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment water dispersion for new emulsion polymerization toner excellent in the yield and controlling of the particle size of the pigment during producing the emulsion polymerization toner. SOLUTION: The dispersion is obtained by dispersing a pigment in water with polyoxyalkylene styrylphenylethers as a dispersant. The pigment dispersion for emulsion polymerization shows 9 to 17 HLB of the polyoxyalkylene styrylphenylethers, 5 to 80 wt.% of the ethers used with respect to the pigment, 0.01 to 2.0μm dispersion diameter of the pigment and 10 to 50% content of the pigment.
