PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substitution liquid which has a good storage stability to an inkjet head and provides a favorable ink discharge efficiency after ink is filled. SOLUTION: A low-volatility ester-based organic solvent or a low-volatility polyhydric alcohol is used as the substitution liquid for the inkjet head. The substitution liquid is used when the inkjet head is stored or transported. The substitution liquid is used to substitute for the ink when an ink discharge is suspended for a long term.
