Disclosed is a distribution system for goods, comprising distribution stations (10) provided with compartments (1) which can be actuated by a control unit (2) and used to remove goods, in addition to a computer unit (3) which is connected to an input and display device and to memory units (9) for reception and authorisation codes. In order to provide advantageous distribution conditions; the interconnected computer units (3) of the individual, locally separated distribution stations (10) are respectively associated with a printer (6) for machine-readable recipient addresses from an address memory (5) which can be loaded by means of the input and display device (4), in addition to a read device (7) for such recipient addresses which can be arranged on the goods, and a respective program memory (13) for establishing the path of the goods between a discharging station and a target station (A,E) according to the address of the recipient, compartment option of the distribution station and optionally provided conveyor sections.
