<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging method based on an ink jet recording process which ensures an excellent character quality to every kind of recording material and also the stable recording of a high definition image without the generation of a color mixture, creases and curling of printed matter, and final printed matter and a recording device. <P>SOLUTION: This imaging method discharges an active ray-curable ink to the surface of a recording material with the help of a recording head with at least one nozzle capable of selectively controlling the discharge of ink droplets. In addition, the method uses an ink containing a photoacid generator and controls the humidity of a curing atmosphere after impacts of ink droplets. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
