DOOR OPENING/CLOSING MECHANISM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a durable door opening/closing mechanism which dispenses with a large space at opening/closing, and allows a shape of a door and that of a main body to be freely designed. SOLUTION: The door 2 is supported by links 16a and 16b which are coupled to an operator cab 14 by a joint 15. One end of the door 2 is guided along a side surface of the operator cab 14 by a guide rail 18. When a rail supporting implement 19 is guided by the guide rail 18 so as to start to move along the side surface of the operator cab 14, a couple of forces for causing the rotational motion of the door 2 act on the joint 15 at both ends of the links 16a and 16b. The other end of the door 2 is swung out toward the outside of the driver cab 14 by the couple of the forces, and its locus is regulated in an arc shape by a rod 17. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
