PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tappet roller support bearing being excellent in durability even under a severe lubrication condition, and facilitating manufacture and having a low cost. SOLUTION: In a tappet roller support bearing provided at a rocker arm 3 effecting movement in correspondence to rotation of a cam 2 and comprising a roller 6 making contact with the cam 2; and a support shaft 5 supporting the cam 2 rotatively, the roller 6 and the support bearing 5 are formed of a graphite steel formed that the content of graphite is 0.5-15% in a rate of area and the content of graphite of surface layers 5a and 6a is set to 0.1-12% in a rate of area.
