PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in a method for manufacturing a metal tube such as a ferrule and a sleeve for an optical connector by electroforming, that a wire 4 and a fixing tool 8 move to a direction of coming off in a conventional holder 3 having an intermediate plate 9 during electroforming to cause an electroforming failure, that the wire 4 having come off contacts with a holder 3 for electroforming to energize and plate it, and that in an extreme case, the wire 4 is directly connected to an anode 10 to cause a short-circuit, which is fatal.
