PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid detergent composition containing a mutant alkali cellulase. SOLUTION: The liquid detergent composition contains the mutant alkali cellulase in which a glutamine residue at the 242nd position or at a position corresponding to the 242nd position of an amino acid sequence expressed by a sequence No.1 (refer to the specification) is replaced with another amino acid residue in a cellulase having≥90% identity with the amino acid sequence expressed by the (a) sequence No.1. The liquid detergent composition is excellent in resoiling-preventing effect, suitable for soak cleaning in high concentration and washing with warm water and expresses excellent detergency to soiling of collars, sleeve openings and the like caused by sebum and staining by bleeding.
