The invention relates to a truck (1), especially a fire brigade utility vehicle (2), the body of which is mounted on a chassis frame (3) and comprises a driver's cabin (6) which can be pivoted about a horizontal axis extending perpendicular to the direction of travel. Furthermore, a cabin (7) for the fire-fighting team and/or equipment is mounted on the chassis frame (3) and is connected to the driver's cabin (6) by means of a detachable connecting device embodying a passage. A useful structure is mounted on the chassis frame, separately from the driver's cabin (6) and the cabin (7) for the fire-fighting team and/or equipment, and comprises integrated elements for storing tools and appliances. Fire-extinguishing devices, including at least one tank (17), an extinguishant pump (25) etc., are optionally arranged inside said useful structure. Climbing devices are provided at the entrance openings and/or operating openings in the transversal and/or longitudinal lateral walls of the vehicle body (16). |
