The vehicle has an underbody, a wagon box above it and a spring stage provided between them. At least one actuator is arranged between the wagon box and underbody for bringing the box from a raised traveling position into a lowered loading/unloading position against the spring stage restoring force and holding it in the lowered position. The box is raised to the traveling position by the restoring force if the actuator is deactivated or fails. The vehicle (1) has an underbody (2) and a wagon box (3) arranged above it, whereby a spring stage (4) is provided between the underbody and substructure. At least one actuator (6) is arranged between the wagon box and underbody for bringing the wagon box from a raised traveling position into a lowered loading/unloading position against the restoring force of the spring stage and to hold it in the lowered position. The wagon box is raised to the traveling position by the restoring force if the actuator is deactivated or fails.
