Environmentally friendly house (passive house) has no roof truss. The walls terminate above the top ceiling and the roof is covered by a flexible sheet (2) which rises up the walls to form a trap for rain water (3). This is fed into the water tank or water supply system for the house. An Independent claim is included for a method for making bricks and panels for building the house by molding and hardening charcoal mixed with gypsum, clay or lime.
