<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an activation apparatus with which the operation cost is reduced and a waste treatment plant provided with the activation apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The activation apparatus is provided with an activation furnace 35 and a carbon dioxide supply part 41 for supplying carbon dioxide for activation to the activation furnace 35. The carbon dioxide supply part 41 is constituted so that A 1st gas supply means 80 for initial activation treatment and a 2nd gas supply means 81 for subsequent activation treatment are provided to be freely switched respectively to a carbon dioxide supply state and a non- supply state. The 2nd gas supply means 81 is provided with an oxygen supply mechanism 86 for supplying oxygen to a flow passage 85 of a waste gas from the activation furnace 35 and the flow passage 85 is connected to communicate with a carbon dioxide receiving part of the activation furnace 35 to return and supply the waste gas to which oxygen is supplied to the activation furnace 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
