<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of controlling jam or misprint error due to useless print operation, its controlling method and a program for implementing that controlling method. <P>SOLUTION: A decision is made whether the sheet size at a reserved point in time matches the sheet size at a point in time of starting print operation. When the sheet sizes do not match each other, a sheet size mismatch alarm is delivered and a new sheet size is registered automatically on a reservation table before resuming print operation. Consequently, jamming due to starting print operation with the sheet size registered at the time of reservation or miss print error due to mismatch of sheet length measured by a sensor on the carrying passage can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
