PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve excellent in reliability, by reducing hysteresis. SOLUTION: The solenoid valve comprises: a plunger 5 made of magnetic material that is disposed to reciprocate in a hollow portion of the solenoid 2; a center post 4 made of magnetic material coaxially disposed to face the plunger 5; a cylinder 6 disposed in the hollow portion of a solenoid body and supporting a movable member to be capable of sliding; a valve sleeve 8 having a plurality of holes which is disposed in a cylindrical peripheral wall and through which fluid flows; a spool portion 5c axially moves in the valve sleeve 8 and adjusting opening areas of the plurality of holes to control a flow rate of the fluid; and a slide support portion 8a disposed in the valve sleeve 8 and supporting an end of the spool portion 5c to be capable of sliding.
