PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost multi-row gear 1 capable of yielding many sorts of double row gears 1 only by using a less number of dies, provide a combination of double row gears capable of accomplishing various gearing rations, and provide a small-sized reduction gear (2a-2e) capable of accomplishing various gearing rations using a less number of components and having a high degree of freedom in mounting. SOLUTION: A minor gear 10 and a major gear 11 are fabricated separately using dies, coupled together, and fixed to form a double row gear 1. Three or more of such double row gears 1 are combined in such an arrangement that the minor gears 10 and the major gears 11 have the same canter distance. The intended reduction gear (2a-2e) is based on such a combination of double row gears 1 and arranged so that a plurality of shafts can be mounted there. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
