PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bay window improving workability by easily exchanging a bottom board even after attaching a bay window to a building and enhancing degree of freedom of construction procedure. SOLUTION: The bay window 1 has a bay window body 2 provided with a vertical frame, an upper frame and a lower frame 32, and the bottom board 60. An outdoor side end edge 61 of the bottom board 60 is inserted in a holding groove 65 of the lower frame 32, and an indoor side end edge 63 of the bottom board 60 is mounted on a mounting part 72 of a support material 70 fixed on a window sill 104 to arrange the bottom board 60. A gap 80 of a size L1 is formed between the indoor side end edge 63 of the bottom board 60 and a support material body 71. When the gap size L1 utilizes the gap 80 to slide and move the bottom board 60 to an indoor side, the outdoor side end edge 61 is slipped out of the holding groove 65 and the bottom board 60 is set at detachable size. The bay window body 2 is not detached but only the bottom board 60 is detached, and degree of freedom of construction procedure and construction workability can be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
