PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ladder self-supportable auxiliary metallic fitting capable of enlarging the use range of the ladder by easily making use of the ladder as a trestle or a scaffold. SOLUTION: The supportable auxiliary metallic tool of the ladder is provided with a metallic body 1 in which a connection part 2 of the ladder self-supportable support member at specified positions of the ladder, having a length corresponding to the width distance of the ladder to be self-supported and a connection metal fitting 4 provided with the engaging part 5 to the ladder steps. It is preferable that the connection part 2 is formed of a bolt 2a welded to one side face of both ends of the metallic fitting body 1 so as to overhang outer side than both posts of the ladder and nuts 2b screwed into the bolt 2a and also it is preferable that the connection metallic fitting 4 whose bend is formed as an engaging part 5 to the steps and both loose ends are constituted of a U-shape bolt forming a male screw part 6a which can be inserted into a through hole 1a provided in the metallic fitting body 1 whose bend is formed to be the engaging part 5 to the step and further, a male screw part 6a in which both ends can be inserted in a through hole 1a provided in the metallic fitting body 1 and a fastening nut 6 which can be screwed with the male screw 6a.
