PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book cover with a housing part capable of attaching a prize having an elongated shape or the like to a book/magazine, and a book with a housing part. SOLUTION: The book cover 1 with the housing part is one for attaching a prize and a supplement 4 to the book/magazine and a housing part 2, which is formed into an elongated box body state comprising a thickness almost same to the thickness D of the book/magazine by folding the part extended from a cover or back cover part comprising a paper material for covering a cover 31 and a back cover 32, is formed along the end 33 of the book/magazine. The housing part 2 may be attached to the top or bottom part or spine part of the book/magazine. Further, the housing part may be produced by a separate process to be set to a form bonded to the spine part or the like. The book with the housing part is constituted so as to be mounted on the book/magazine by housing the prize and the supplement 4 in the book cover. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
