PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration which can reduce the number of parts and manufacturing man-hour in respect to an ink jet head with a channel structure including a filter inside. SOLUTION: The ink jet head is constructed in a multi-layer structure of flat plates. At least one flat plate to be stacked is manufactured by a method which includes at least the following processes of (a) forming photosensitive resin layers 314a/314b to both faces of a metal flat plate 314, (b) developing through selective exposure to the photosensitive resin layer 314a of one side, etching the flat plate 314 and forming a first ink channel 352 in the flat plate 314, and (c) developing through selective exposure to the photosensitive resin layer 314b of the other side and forming a second ink channel 367 connected to the first ink channel 352, and the filter 362.
