PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for spraying spacers inside a cell for the purpose of uniformizing the cell gap of a liquid crystal display element and improving display quality. SOLUTION: In a step to spray the cell spacers on one substrate, which constitutes a manufacturing process of the liquid crystal display element, the spacers are sprayed by varying spacer density corresponding to regions in the substrate considering the migration of the spacers which may occur when a liquid crystal is injected into the cell as the next step.
