When the button (421) is pressed the outer shaft segment (22) is released moving upwards together with a stationary base (32), causing a wire to pull the lower spokes (12) into an open position. The button (421) is returned into its prior position by a spring (4141). When the button (421) is pressed again, a mechanism of springs, levers and a sliding element acts on the spokes (14) and the outer shaft segment (22), pulling the components back and folding the umbrella automatically.
