The laryngo-stroboscope has a light stroboscope synchronized with the vibration of the vocal chords by means of a sound receiver. The strobe light source of the stroboscope consists of at least one light-emitting diode (30) arranged on the head of the observer so that the flashing light is irradiated in the viewing direction of the observer. Electronic circuitry supplies the LED with power from a power supply or energy store and controls them. At least the electronic circuitry and the power supply or energy store are arranged in a portable housing (20).
