<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure in an engagement relationship between a drive transmission member and the sealing member and also simplify a disengaging method, in a toner container in which a sealing portion receives rotation as a means for rotatably transmitting the toner container. <P>SOLUTION: A sealing portion that receives rotation from a main body is provided with a projection that has a movable rigid ball in a radial direction. To engage with the main body, the projection is simply inserted into the rotation transmitting ring of the main body. In conjunction with the setting of the toner container and the closing of the main body cover, an engagement support rod is automatically inserted from the main body side, and the sealing member is engaged using the engagement support rod and the rotation transmission ring, thereby rotating it. The sealing member can be easily disengaged because the engagement support rod moves back into home position in conjunction with the opening of the main body cover.
