<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image receiving sheet which has good conveyability in a recorder and which obtains a good transfer image. <P>SOLUTION: The image receiving sheet having an image formed by transferring an image forming layer onto an image receiving layer, by oppositely superposing the image forming layer and the image receiving layer, by using a thermal transfer sheet having the image receiving layer and having at least a photothermal conversion layer and the image forming layer on a support, and irradiating the layers with a laser beam.
