<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent the breakage of a sensing part for measuring a flow rate of air provided in a passage for introducing and passing the air to be measured due to the collision of particles contained in the air to the sensing part. <P>SOLUTION: The sensing part 3 provided in the passage 3 is set with its detecting face 301 parallel to the passage direction. A sheet-like member having a plate surface 501 parallel to the passage direction is provided in an immediately upstream position of the sensing part 3 to form a straightening member 5 for straightening the flow of the air to be measured, so that the particles in the air do not have a large kinetic momentum in the direction orthogonal to the detecting face 301, whereby the collision of the particles to the detecting face 301 and its impact are suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
