PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of improving an operational stability at the time of dry state and wet state, respectively, while keeping some performances such as uneven wear, noise and comfortable riding feeling or the like. SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire has a land segment 10 divided at a tread surface by a continuous groove continuing at least circumferentially. The land segment 10 has a side wall 11 arranged more outside than a tire equator line when the tire is installed and facing outside the vehicle. The side wall 11 is inclined at an inclination angleαof 20 to 60°in respect to a normal line 18 of a tread 12 and at the same time the side wall 11 is provided with either a concave part or a groove part 15.
