PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester composition excellent in crystallinity controllability upon melt forming and long-term continuous moldability, and also to provide a blow molding, a sheet material and an oriented film obtained therefrom which is excellent in transparency and dimension stability under heating, particularly a contraction coefficient at a mouth plug site of the blow molding falling within an appropriate range and further can give a container for a liquid in which remaining off-flavor and off-taste are hardly generated. SOLUTION: The polyester composition comprises polyester chips comprising ethylene terephthalate as the main repeating unit and 0.1-5,000 ppm of polyester fines having the same composition as the above polyester chips and the composition shows 170-195°C of a crystallization temperature (Tc1') measured by a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) upon temperature rising of the fines.
