<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve, in a mechanism for recycling liquid toner unused in the developing process of a liquid development electrophotographic device using the liquid toner, a liquid toner recycling device having a concentration recovery mode that prevents a liquid overflow resulting from concentration adjustment even when images using a large amount of toner solid content are consecutively printed. <P>SOLUTION: As shown in Fig. 1, the toner recycling device has devices which are provided for a developing roller 1 and a photoreceptor 2 in order to recover residual toner. When toner concentration in a toner concentration adjustment tank for concentration adjustment has decreased, a concentration recovering operation is started. As illustrated in Fig. 1, the charging potential of the photoreceptor body and the force of an electric field generated by the charges of the toner solid content are caused to repel each other, thereby causing only carrier oil to move onto the photoreceptor body. Thus, the concentration of the recovered toner is increased, and this is used for adjusting concentration in the toner concentration adjustment tank. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
