SAFETY SENSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety sensor capable of detecting fire quickly and reliably at an early stage.

SOLUTION: A CO sensor 40 is connected to a fire sensor 36 via a communication means 110 and is driven in a pulse-like manner. A pulse signal control means 22 is provided for changing the pulse interval of the CO sensor 40 in response to a signal transmitted from the fire sensor 36 via the communication means 110. Changing the pulse interval of the CO sensor 40 in response to the signal from the fire sensor 36 serves to prolong the life of a battery when it is used as a power source for driving, and to reliably detect a fire abnormality at an early stage by changing the timing of detection of the CO sensor 40 in abnormal situations.
