PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable which can be used as a vertical trunk yard cable and a small-diameter cable for a subscriber line, is a small- diameter cable formable as a structure with a supporting-wire and makes various forms of use possible according to laying conditions. SOLUTION: The small-diameter cable (1) is formed by lining up an optical fiber unit section (3) formed by intertwining a plurality of glass-fiber cords (2) and integrating these fibers by coating with a thermoplastic elastomer and tension members (4) on one straight line and coating together both thereof with a cable coating layer (5) consisting of a thermoplastic resin.
