PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve that suppresses loss in flow rate discharged from a discharge port. SOLUTION: The solenoid valve comprises: a valve mechanism 2 having an intake port 61 for taking fluid therein and the discharge port 41 discharging the fluid therefrom; and a coil 32 device 3 in contact with the valve mechanism 2 and operating the valve mechanism 2 according to an energization state. The valve mechanism 2 includes: a hollow and cylindrical base 4 having the discharge port 41; a ball 5 housed in the base 4 to communicate the intake port 61 with the discharge port 41 or cut off between the ports according to the energization state of the coil 32 device 3; and a slip-off preventive member 6 made of a member different from that of the base 4, having the intake port 61, and preventing slip-off of the ball 5 from the base 4. The slip-off preventive member 6 has a large-diameter hole larger than an outer diameter of the ball 5, and a plurality of projecting portions projecting from the outer periphery of the large-diameter hole toward the inner diameter side of the outer diameter of the ball 5.
