PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breather device capable of preventing the mist of lubricating oil from being outwardly discharged from the inside of an apparatus on airflow. SOLUTION: In a transfer 1 of a vehicle, a breather chamber 11 is formed on a transfer case 5 so as to face to an end surface 10 of an input shaft 2 rotatably supported by a ball bearing 4, and an air breather 12 is provided. A wall surface 13 of the transfer case 5 is adjacent to the ball bearing 4, and an oil groove that is shallow in a vertical direction is formed on a lower part of the wall surface 13.
