PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothed belt capable of performing a service under a high load condition. SOLUTION: The toothed belt 1 includes a body consisting of a back rubber part 4 in which core wires 3 are embedded and a plurality of tooth parts of rubber 2 arranged on the back rubber part 4 at a certain spacing in the belt longitudinal direction and is structured so that a tooth cloth 5 is affixed to the tooth parts 2 of the belt body, wherein the back rubber part 4 and the tooth parts 2 are made of a millable polyurethane rubber composition prepared based on a millable polyurethane rubber whereto at least 20-60 pts.wt. carbon black, 0.5-10 pts.wt. organic peroxides, and 0.5-25 pts.wt. co-bridging agent are added with respect to 100 pts.wt. millable polyurethane rubber as the base material, and the core wires 3 are made from Aramid Fiber (R).
