PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turnbuckle operable with a single motion in which labour saving and reliability are improved by simplifying a mounting method of a rod screw part to an adjustment body and operation of initial temporary fastening. SOLUTION: The turnbuckle operable with the single motion is provided with a pair of right and left rods in which a connecting part with a member to be tensed is continuously provided at a head part of an inversely threaded male screw part and the adjustment body in which a female screw mechanism, the male screw part is inserted thereto, is provided at both end parts in the longitudinal direction and the insertion length of the rod can be adjusted by rotational operation. The female screw mechanism comprises a female screw piece in which the female screw capable of being screwed by the male screw part is formed and the female screw is screwed by the male screw part by moving in a direction reducing in diameter by the movement of the male screw part in a pulling out direction while moving in an expanding direction when the male screw part is inserted, a lock nut arranged outside in the axis direction from the female screw piece and provided to both end parts of the adjustment body, a contacting inclination face formed mutually slidably on a face opposing to the female screw piece and the lock nut and to expand and reduce in diameter of the female screw piece by sliding, and an energizing member to energize the female screw piece in the direction reducing in diameter.
